Scheduling Tools
Teachworks makes it quick and easy to enable user accounts for your clients. Once they have confirmed their account and set a password, they can login to Teachworks to view their calendar and lesson history anytime, anywhere. Having this information at their fingertips helps to limit any scheduling questions and confusion they may have and reduces the number of queries to your office.

Additionally, you can enable the self-serve features below to give your clients even more control over their schedules.
1. Website Booking Plugin
The Website Booking Plugin makes it possible for your clients to book lessons, join open classes or enroll in courses right from your website. The plugin features a detailed list of options to give you full control over what’s displayed to your clients.
Once you’ve tweaked your settings, styled the buttons to match your website’s branding, and added booking options and/or open classes, you can add the code provided to your website’s html.

2. Lesson Requests Add-on
If you’ve enabled user accounts for your clients, the Lesson Requests Add-on will allow them to login and request lessons with their default tutor(s). Clients can filter the calendar by tutor to quickly find an available spot that works with their schedule and submit their request.
Once a client has submitted a lesson request, you and your employees can review the incoming request and accept, decline or modify it as needed.

3. Open Classes Add-on
The Open Classes Add-on is also an internal feature that will require clients to have user accounts enabled. If you’ve added any open classes or courses to the calendar, your clients will be able to view and join them from their Teachworks calendar.

4. Customer Cancellation Add-on
The Customer Cancellation Add-on makes it quick and easy for your clients to cancel their upcoming lessons from their Teachworks calendar or their Lesson Reminder Email (if you’ve included a cancellation link).
The features mentioned in the sections above can be used to reschedule lessons once a cancellation has been made.

Self-Serve Billing Tools
If you enable user accounts for your clients, they can login to Teachworks to view their billing information. Depending on your selected settings, they can view their invoices, payments, and package balances. You can also add a “Payment Instructions” page to their accounts to address any frequently asked billing questions they may have.

1. Stripe Integration
If you’re using our Stripe Integration to process online payments, your clients can quickly and securely pay their invoices online, any time of the day. Making the payment process straightforward and convenient will make it more likely for clients to pay on time.

2. Paying through the Website Booking Plugin
This feature requires the Stripe Integration and the Website Booking Plugin to be enabled. Once enabled, you’ll be able to charge your clients at the time of booking.

3. Package Purchases Add-on
If you sell lesson packages to your clients, the Package Purchases Add-on allows your clients to purchase packages on their own.
You can include a link in the Low Package Balance Alert email that they can click to navigate to the purchase page.
