What is the Website Booking Plugin?

Teachworks’ free Website Booking Plugin is a feature that you can integrate directly with your tutoring website. Your existing clients and prospective clients can visit your website to easily book lessons, join classes or enroll in courses depending on your specific configuration.

The add-on offers a range of customizable settings, including the ability to modify basic design elements such as the button colour and text. Once you’ve customized your settings, you can copy the code provided and add it to your website where you would like the booking plugin to appear.

Enrolling in a Course Through the Website Booking Plugin

Now that you’ve created your first course, clients will be able to enroll through the Website Booking Plugin added to your website. The process will look like this from a client’s perspective:

1. Clients visit your website and click the booking button.

Enroll now - edge button

2. They are presented with a list of available courses that they can join. Next to the course they will see a “Join All” button. They will also be able to expand the course details to view upcoming dates.

3. After clicking the “Join All” button for a specific course, they’ll be directed to the booking form where they can enter their personal details.

4. Lastly, they’ll then have the opportunity to review their course enrollment information and details. They can click the “Complete Enrollment” button to finalize the enrollment.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Courses will only appear in this list if the course has not started yet. If you’d like to give students an opportunity to join future lessons after it has already started, you’ll need to edit the lesson’s repeat settings and set the Enrollment Settings to “Join Individual lessons”.
  • By default, your service list settings will be used to determine the total cost of the course. If a student is logged in when booking, their selected billing method will be used to determine the cost. If you would like to set the same cost for all students in the course, you can use the cost override feature to do this.
  • As soon as you start adding courses, you will see 2 new “Join Course Confirmation Email” templates – one is for teachers and the other for clients.
