Preset Charges Add-on & Other New Updates!

We’ve been hard at work enhancing Teachworks with fresh features, bug fixes, and overall improvements. Here’s a brief overview of what’s new and improved.

New: Preset Invoice Charges Add-on

The Preset Invoice Charges Add-on allows you to create standard invoice charge items that can be selected to quickly add charge items to your invoices.

Search Improvements

• We’ve added an “Advanced Search” filter to the Student List. This feature makes it quick and easy to find students by subject, location, school, status and more.

• For faster performance, we’ve adjusted the “Search” field range on the Lesson History and Lesson History by Student tables to be 1 year ago from the current date instead of 2 years. You can still search further back by first setting the date filter at the top and then using the search field.
• The maximum date in the date picker for wage payments has been adjusted to allow dates further into the future.
• We have adjusted the default date range for teacher invoices and payments to use a trailing period.

Website Booking Plugin & Open Classes Add-on Improvements

• A new setting has been added to the Website Booking Plugin, which can be enabled to hide open classes from the plugin when they are full. The default setting is to “Hide” full classes.

• Additionally, we’ve updated client accounts to ensure that open classes that are full and that don’t have any of the client’s students enrolled will not be displayed.

Invoicing Updates

• For companies that have long invoice or credit note prefixes (ie. 8 characters or more) the prefix will be hidden by default on the Invoice forms so that the number will be visible. You can hover over the prefix section to see the prefix as indicated below.

Timestamps & Records

• We’ve added a “Last Updated” timestamp when hovering over the wage tiers labels on the Edit Service form and service labels on the Edit Wage Tier form.

• “Confirmation Sent At” and “Confirmed At” columns have been added to the Student Excel download that will display the date and time that account confirmations were sent and when they were confirmed.
• When checking lesson conflicts if the date or time format is invalid, the modal window will indicate this in a message instead of just showing the “loading” icon.
• Also, when trying to view the details for a lesson or other event on the calendar that has been deleted (such as by another user), the modal window will now indicate the record has been deleted rather than just showing the loading icon.
