If you are a language school offering services in a particular language or located in a non-English speaking country, you may want to provide your customers and employees with enrollment and application forms in another language.

Teachworks’ Custom Forms Add-on makes it easy to translate custom forms. In this article, we will guide you through the process.

About The Custom Forms Add-on

The Custom Forms Add-on allows you to create forms that you can use to collect information from new customers and employees. Each form has a unique URL that you can add to your website as a link or button. Once a form has been completed, a corresponding profile is created in Teachworks automatically. You can find more information here: Custom Forms Add-on.

To enable the Custom Forms Add-on, head over to the Integrations & Add-ons page to enable the add-on. Once enabled, you can click the “Add New” link to start building your form.

Creating/Editing Custom Forms

On the “Create Form” or “Edit Form” page, you will see the options below. These options are all fully customizable, making it possible to translate the entire form as needed.

  • Form Title: This is the title that will appear at the top of the form.
  • Form URL: This is the URL that is used for your form. If you’re adding a new form, this is completed automatically based on the form title you enter.
  • Form Instructions: These instructions are displayed at the top of the form and can be written in any language.
  • Submit Button Text: This is the text that appears on the button when customers or employees submit their form.
  • Completion Message: This message is displayed when customers or employees have successfully submitted their form and it can be written in your preferred language.
  • Form Fields: The form fields all have customizable labels, making it possible to translate them easily.

Family Forms

Family forms have 2 sections, one for the family’s information and one for the student’s information. For this reason, there are two additional translation options available for family forms:

  • Student Fields Button Text: This is the button that appears at the bottom of the form to add additional child students.

  • Student Fields > Heading: This field displays at the top of the student section of the form.
