Website Booking Plugin: Scheduling Simplified
We are really excited to announce our latest feature, the Website Booking Plugin. This brand new feature allows you to embed a booking button directly on your website. Your clients (both old and new) can then click on it to book lessons with their favourite teachers. To get started with this great feature, simply enable it on your Integrations & Add-Ons page and start customizing.
The benefits of using the Website Booking Plugin
1. It’s a time saver
The plugin will simplify admin by scheduling booked lessons in the calendar automatically. The information entered by the client is used to create a profile in Teachworks. This gives you more time to focus on other things that require your attention.
2. It will help you generate more business
Providing a convenient booking solution is a great way to generate more business. Allow your customers to book lessons at any time, from anywhere.
3. It’s cost effective
The plugin is free to use. You don’t have to use another software application to manage bookings and then manually schedule the lessons in your Teachworks account – everything is done automatically.
4. It’s user-friendly
The plugin is intuitive and the configuration process is broken into segments (5 steps) to make it easier to focus on small chunks of settings at a time. This ensures that you don’t get overwhelmed by a wall of settings.
5. It’s customizable
We understand how important your brand identity is, which is why we’ve made it possible to easily change the colour and text that displays on the button. Colour settings will carry through all steps of the booking process.
You can also customize the way that teachers are displayed by adding photos or changing the way their names appear.

Clicking on the booking button will bring up your bookable lessons almost instantly, making it easy for customers to book lessons with you.
How it works
1. From a business perspective
The plugin requires some configuration and is broken up into 5 parts:
- Step 1: General settings
- Step 2: Booking options
- Step 3: Form fields
- Step 4: Confirmation emails
- Step 5: Adding the code to your website
Once you have configured the plugin, you will be able to add a customized button to your website. This button will appear in the bottom right corner of the browser and will always be visible.
After a customer has submitted their booking, the following will happen in Teachworks:
- The booking details will be saved and a lesson will be added to the calendar
- Notifications will be emailed to the client, teacher, and your company’s email address with the booking details
- If it is a new client, a profile will be created based on the information entered at the time of booking – you can then easily activate the profile or merge it with an existing customer profile
2. From a client perspective
When a new or existing customer clicks on the booking button on your website, they will able to see all bookable lessons. They can then proceed to choose their preferred lesson, a teacher of their choice and a time slot that suits them. After making a selection, they can fill in their details, review, and submit their booking. You have full control over which classes, teachers and time slots display. You can also add custom fields to the “Additional Information” section of the form.
If an existing customer is logged in while using the booking plugin, all their Teachworks information will be pre-filled, making it even easier to book a lesson.
